Quantum 243kg/m3

Quantum is the minimum amount of any physical entity involved in an interaction. The minimum amount of metal and porcelain used to create low density products. More air than mass, Quantum. Two materials, two different products, same approach. Exclusive limited collection of home accessories made mostly out of air. There is no more than two hundred and forty three pieces all around the world and each piece is unique and hand made. Quantum is your personal cosmos exceeding beyond time and space.

Sequence

Sequence is a set of ideas, collection of products and part of collaborative creation. The collection plays with details, with lights and with texture of materials. Sequence is a visual contrast between fragility and practical usability of the product.

Thin metal lines defining the space in which operate a texture of wooden shelves. The connection technology of metal rectangular prisms allows easy installation.

The Stack

The collection of ceiling lighting combines the colouring of raw materials with clean painted surfaces. The colour of the shades and tints of wood can be combined in as desired. The lighting has no visible mechanical joints, the parts fit together freely. Both materials used are visible even from below. The geometric and sharp lines contrast with the soft reflections of light.

3 sizes and endless colour possibilities

The book is a part of diploma project: Life on the water.

The project deals with the design of a variable system suitable for life on the water divided into individual parts, modules.  Each module has its function for living and as a public space. These modules can then be connected together in any way to make up larger units that in terms of their functioning may be reminiscent of small towns created by the actual users of these houseboats. The cover of the book is made of 2mm thick stainless steel. Create your own pattern on the book by inserting and removing it out of its own cover.
